We offer you private rooms with private and shared bathrooms and besides a mixed dorm room ensuite. The prices include government tax IVA (12%), internet access at the lobby bar, WIFI on the covered top terrace, housekeeping everyday, towels, body soap, lines, blankets, 24 hours hot water, mailbox service, free maps of Quito, an amazing view point of Quito from our top terrace especially of the Old Town and besides a wonderful staff that they are ready to help you in everything you need.
We also have the following services: Luggage storage, security lockers, exchange books, lobby bar, real hot coffee, Ecuadorian big beer; stamps, postcards and souvenirs for sell, payments with credit card, breakfast served at the top terrace, Spanish Classes, etc...

Our hostel is conveniently located near all major public transportation, inside a traditional neighborhood of Quito called San Blas, in the border between the Old and New Town. Our hostel is located to 8 minutes away to the Main Square in the Old Town and 20 minutes away to the night life (walking distances). We are only steps away from famous historic sites and all of these monuments to Latin and Ecuadorian history and culture have culminated in making our neighborhood a UNESCO heritage site.
Chicago Hostel is located very close to the Historic Center, Basilica church, La Compania church, Alameda Park, Elejido park, Itchimbia park, San Blas square, San Francisco square, Plaza Grande square, different museums and art galeries in the Old Town. Besides, for a couple of dollars you could get the Panecillo (Virgen on the top of a hill), Teleferico(cable car) and the Mariscal (night live area). Very close to our hostel is located some very nice restaurant on the top of the Itchimbia hill including an amazing view of the Old Town and you could get very good restaurants in the Historic Center as well. Also,from our hostel is very easy to go to La Mitad del Mundo.
Finally, our place is located near to the more important Buses Stops as Ecovia, Trolebus and Metrobus. These are the three more important, reliable and safe buses system in Quito.

We recommend to take a taxi (30 min). If you want to get a bus we recommend you to take the METROBUS (around 50 min) on the 'La Prensa' Av. heading to the historical center and get off in the "Consejo Provincial" bus stop and walk to our place.

Terminal Terrestre "Quitumbe" (South of Quito)
We recommend to take a taxi (45 min). If you want to get a bus we recommend you to take the TROLEBUS (around 75 min) next to this terminal terrestre heading to the historical center and get off in the "Hermano Miguel" bus stop.
Terminal Terrestre "Carcelén" (North of Quito)
We recommend to take a taxi (45 min). * Regular Check-In is from 2pm.
From 2pm to 11:59pm is a regular Check-In
From 0:00 am to 5:59am, a 100% charge will be included automatically in your room's bill and the Check-Out for this period is at 11am of the same day.
* Early Check-In
From 6am to 1:59pm of the same day, there is an extra charge of 50% in the cost of the room for this period of time and it will be included automatically in your room's bill. At 2pm of the same day starts a new period of stay. Check-Out time is until 11 in the morning.
* If your transportation arrives to Quito before 6am, be sure to make a reservation for the night before.
*If you will arrive before 2pm., you are able to use our luggage storage until the Check-In time.
*We do not have 24 hours reception, our schedule is from 8 am to 10 pm. but the Check-In is 24/7.
*Children under 12 years old pay USD 6.00 (per kit per night) sharing room with 2 adults.
*All payments have to bein cash and in advance. You will be responsible to our facility for the payment of the balance specified in your reservation in the time you make the Check-In
*The value of the deposit and service charge are not refundable or transferable.
*In case of no show, the total value payable upon arrival to our facility will be charged to your credit card.
*In case of no show on the first night of your reservation you will automatically lose the remaining days reserved.
*The deposit and service charge for the reservation are not refundable or transferable in case of cancellation or modification.
*The customer can cancel (by email) until three days prior to supposed arrival, to avoid having to pay the entire reservation as a No Show
*We accept changes in arrival date only from 72 hours in advance.
*You must confirm your reservation 24 hours before your arrival date.
*Please note, the arrival time specified in the booking is the time limit which you can get in, if you don´t show up at the time indicated on the reservation, we shall to enable the room or bed to other guests and there will a charge to your credit card for NO SHOW. If you have any change in arrival time please send us an email indicating the new arrival time. |
